Automotive Training Schools, Inc. (formerly Snap-on Technical Training Solutions) has been conducting first class quality technical training in Northern California for over thirteen years and have trained over 10,000 students in our training centers. The most popular courses we offer are the six California Bureau of Automotive Repair smog certification courses.  We also offer courses for Scanner Operations, Labscope and Vantage operations, MODIS operations, and Air Conditioning diagnosis and certification. Currently, we have three main training centers in Northern California including Sacramento, Concord and San Jose; with other remote centers accross Northern California. We also just recently opened a new provider campus in Fresno!!

Our main objective is to provide the best possible training program for individuals that are enthusiatic about obtaining the proper instruction in the "Driveability" and California smog certification field. We feel so strongly about this objective that we offer to all of our students that they can repeat ANY course for NO CHARGE within one year of originally taking the class. (A retest fee may apply).

We also offer a comprehensive "Driveability" and "Smog certification" training program for people with little to no automotive experience. We have a very successful training program that begins with basic automotive skills and continues through specific training in automotive electronic and computer systems diagnostics and repair. We then continue through all six California state certified smog courses required by the Bureau of Automotive Repair to obtain an Advanced level smog technician license. We even prepare you for the very difficult state smog examination.  You will only find this type of program with Automotive Training Schools, and it is called the A.P.E.T. program(Automotive Performance and Emissions Technology).
